Here are some shots from last year's 8th Annual WMHfH Motorcycle Ride.
Just a few of the bikes, at the end of the Ride.
The Breeze (107.1/99.7 FM) provided on-the-scene color, music, and prizes.
NJ State Police and local Police provided excellent escort service, insuring the safety of riders and the public.
The USMC (Retired) Honor Guard displayed the colors.
The Cabin provided food for all.
Well-fed bikers are happy bikers!

Flea Market benefits Western Monmouth Habitat for Humanity!
On Saturday, April 19, United Storage, at 3464 Route 9 South, hosted a Flea Market. Proceeds from table rentals were given to Western Monmouth Habitat for Humanity.
Students from our Marlboro High School Chapter, and their advisor, Ms. Amy Lockwood, were at the event, to tell the Habitat for Humanity story.

Thanks to United Storage, and the Marlboro H.S. Chapter members for this support of decent, affordable housing in Western Monmouth County!
Newest Habitat for Humanity home - and an appeal
Our latest home, on Center Street in Freehold Boro is now occupied by a happy family! A home closing is a joyful event for us, as we see the culmination of work with the family, to construct decent affordable housing.
But, we have a problem! We urgently need affordable buildable sites in Western Monmouth County. If you are aware of such a site, or if you have land you would consider donating for affordable housing, please contact our office (732-308-3400) or email us at mail@westmonhabitat.org with your information.
Great furniture at the Habitat Store!!
If you haven't been to our Habitat Store, at 41 Throckmorton Street, in downtown Freehold, you are missing great bargains. Especially now, that a famous brand manufacturer has donated some fabulous furniture (hutches, tables, chairs, mattresses, etc.) to us. We have them available at amazingly low prices (and the proceeds go toward our goal of working with low-income families to provide affordable housing). The Habitat Store is open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10 AM to 3 PM. Come on in, and benefit yourself, while supporting affordable housing!
We welcome donations of "gently used, but not abused" furniture. If you can't bring your donation to the Store, call 732-577-8160 to arrange for a pick-up.
Volunteers are welcome any time we are open. Just drop in. No need to call ahead!
Volunteers Wanted!
We always need volunteers to help with building, committee work, administrative tasks, office work -- everything needed to keep our organization healthy and growing. Please join our mission of eliminating substandard housing. Click here to register.
NOW - Three Ways to Give, To Help Build a House
Now there are three good ways to give!
First, is to make a commemorative or memorial gift to Western Monmouth Habitat for Humanity, in behalf of a friend or family member. To do that, print this form, fill it out, and send it to us along with your donation. We will send an acknowledgement card informing the person of your gift.
The second way is to join the
Carpenters Club.
By joining the Carpenters Club, you pledge to make a financial gift each time we begin construction of a new home or rehabilitation of an existing home. Print the
Carpenters Club information and Pledge Form.
The third way is by donating your old car to Western Monmouth Habitat for Humanity, through Habitat for Humanity's Cars for Homes.
Your car donation can help a family build a house, and the hope of a better life! Car donations help Habitat for Humanity build houses in partnership with families in need of decent, affordable shelter. Donate a car, truck, boat, RV or other vehicle to Habitat's Cars for Homes vehicle donation program by calling 1-877-277-4344 or visiting www.carsforhomes.org
In any of these three ways, you will be helping deserving families receive affordable housing!
